Initially, there will be four Entry Categories for the first year of The Angkor Wat International Film Festival. Accepted submissions will be screened on DVD on either NTSC or PAL or digital videotape formats. We will 
not be screening accepted submissions on 35mm or 16mm due to the exorbitant equipment costs and as 
there are no movie theaters in Siem Reap. Films in this format would need to be converted to DVD or digital video. Films must be in English language or have English subtitles.

We intend to accept numerous formats for digital and film submissions including those made in the 
traditional 35mm or 16mm formats but presented in a digital format. We also will invite entrants from 
the television and cable media from Asia to submit documentary and historical, cultural and/or 
environmental works.

A Selection Committee will view all entries and make final programming decisions.

The four Entry Categories are:

1. Feature Length non-documentary Film (Running time: 60+ minutes) - $35 US

2. Short non-documentary film (Running time: 5-59 minutes) - $25 US

3. Feature Length Documentary Film (Running time: 60+ minutes) - $35 US

4. Short Documentary film (Running time: 5-59 minutes) - $25 US

The Angkor Wat International Film Festival will reach out to digital/filmmakers worldwide as well to those 
in Cambodia; the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam); other Asian countries including China, Korea, 
Nepal, India and Japan; the USA and North America, Europe, South America, Australia and New Zealand.
